Standing alone-
I’m one in a million
All alone
But lost in the billions
A galaxy of stars
An eternity afar
Standing so small-
Earthbound-
See, this is where we are
Everything and anything
Moving just to be
Never here and never will
But its everything to me
Painting pictured
Spilled out on canvas
Eradicate rigor
And vigorous abandon
Standing alone
Curtains open, windblown
Lost in the masses
Constricted by impasses
Meteor showers fall from above
Masses of strangers below
I’m moved to know I’m still loved
When I see stars fall outside my window
